Zerobase Emollient Cream

Zerobase Emollient Cream softens, moisturises and protects the skin. It relieves the symptoms of red, inflamed, dry skin and as an emollient it protects raw areas of skin.

If you have eczema the cream can also be applied before bathing to stop the skin drying further.

Zerobase Emollient Cream is:

• fragrance free
• contains no colourings

Suitable for adults and children and has been designed as a follow up treatment to topical steroids, or to space out steroid treatment.

Ideal for:

• the symptomatic treatment of inflamed, damaged, dry or chapped skin
• the protection of raw skin areas
• as a pre-bathing emollient for dry/eczematous skin to alleviate drying effects

Directions

Apply the cream to the affected areas of skin as often as required and smooth gently into the skin, following the direction of the hair growth.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: liquid paraffin 11% w/w.

Also contains:

• white soft paraffin
• cetostearyl alcohol
• macrogol cetostearyl ether
• sodium dihydrogen phosphate
• chlorocresol
• phosphoric acid
• purified water

Cautions

Zerobase contains cetostearyl alcohol and chlorocresol which may cause local skin reaction (e.g. contact dermatitis) or allergic reactions.

Do not use if you have an allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Do not apply if the skin is broken, badly cracked, infected or bleeding. Avoid contact with the eyes.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is unlikely to have any ill effects when used as directed. If unsure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
